Paling tidak, selama 4 episode Midnight Mass, saya jadi tahu bagaimana sekolah minggu di gereja katolik berlangsung. Jemaat berkumpul memenuhi kursi, putra altar kemudian datang dari belakang mengiringi pendeta yang akan memberi ceramah di mimbar dengan kutipan ayat ayat Injil, melantunkan nyanyian, dan terakhir ada sebuah sesi memberi jemaat tegukan anggur dari cawan. Tetapi, Midnight Mass bukanlah film religi meski nampak bahwa mayoritas tokoh di series ini sangat religius. Midnight Mass adalah serial vampire yang menciptakan monster dari jiwa jiwa manusia yang blind faith.
